Programa Shade for FSX
Srs,

so uma coisa qual e a versão?

Moço... o bicho é complicado. Na verdade o que eu queria é saber como voltar o FSX ao seu estado anterior. Apenas desintalando o Shade, não resolve, sabem o que fazer?

Re: Programa Shade for FSX
Abaixo o readme do Jesus.

Shader Model 3 MOD for Flight Simulator X (v1.6)
Jan 25, 2011. By Bojote (Jesus Altuve)
jaltuve@gmail.com
WHAT'S NEW
==========
v1.6 - Water now has a 'darker' look at night, like in real life.
- Fixed a problem with 'grids' appearing under certain conditions.
- Minor visual quality improvements at altitude when looking the ocean.
DESCRIPTION
===========
So, what is this exactly? its a replacement Shaders set which has been updated to allow FSX to use the newer v3 model.
FSX was released allowing backward compatiblity with older hardware. this required that the 'default' shader model supported
was version 2. However, newer video cards are designed and optimized to execute last generation DX9c shaders (SM3.0) more
efficiently.
There is a MASSIVE performance improvement when running ATI hardware (specially 5870's), also
distant blurries have been reduced via Negative LOD bias + Anisotropic filters and Water Reflections and bumps were improved
considerably. So, if you own an ATI card you'll get a nice performance boost, if you own nVidia hardware you'll notice a slight
improvement in image quality.
INSTALATION
===========
- Simply double click setup.exe, the installer will take care of the rest.
UNINSTALL
=========
- Go to the Add/Remove programs and select the package. Uninstalling will revert back to your previous Shaders and remove the changes we did on
your fsx.cfg to make it Shader 3 compatible.
KNOWN PROBLEMS
==============
After a 'Shader' re-compile, it is perfectly normal to experience short stutters, this only happens once, as objects are
compiled inside the sim, you can test this by loading an area just after a shader re-compile and then re-run it again and
you'll see stutters dissapear.
When under HEAVY fog (no visibility) effects such as fireworks or smoke coming out of industrial buildings will be visible in the distance.
This is due to this effects being hardcoded INSIDE FSX and being Shader 2.0 compatible only. This same problem can be experienced when using
FSX in DX10 preview mode. Its barely noticeable.
When in 'Map mode' view, if you zoom out to the max setting, you'll see the earth completely white due to how 'fog' effects are implemented in
the Shader 3 mod.
This Shader Mod is NOT compatible with FS Water Configurator
DETAILED INSTALLER ACTIONS
==========================
The auto-installer will perform the following actions AUTOMATICALLY:
AUTOMATIC INSTALLATION
1) Copy a temporary folder with the new Shaders to your FSX root directory with the name: ShadersHLSL_SM3_BOJOTE
2) Copy a temporary WaterConstants.Xml file to your FSX root directory with the name: waterconstants_sm3_bojote.xml
3) Copy this readme file to your FSX root directory 'Shader3 Mod for FSX' subdirectory with the name: readme.txt
4) Automatic rename of your original ShadersHLSL folder to ShadersHLSL_ORIGINAL
5) Automatic rename of your original WaterConstants.Xml file to WaterConstants.Xml.BAK
6) Automatic rename of the temporary folder ShadersHLSL_SM3_BOJOTE to ShadersHLSL
7) Automatic rename of the temporary waterconstants_sm3_bojote.xml file to WaterConstants.Xml
8) A 'Shader3 Mod for FSX' subdirectory is created under your FSX Root with 'optional' goodies, readme files and misc information.
9) DX9 & DX10 cached shaders are automatically DELETED. This folders are located here:
%LocalAppData%\Microsoft\FSX\Shaders and %LocalAppData%\Microsoft\FSX\Shaders10 this is a completely SAFE operation.
10) Once all the above steps are complete, the following changes will be performed on your fsx.cfg file:
[GRAPHICS] => ALLOW_SHADER_30=1
[GRAPHICS] => SHADER_CACHE_PRIMED_10 is REMOVED
[GRAPHICS] => SHADER_CACHE_PRIMED is REMOVED
[GRAPHICS] => SHADER_CACHE_VERSION is REMOVED
[MAIN] => PerfBucket is REMOVED
[MAIN] => ProcSpeed is REMOVED
ALL the removed values (except SHADER_CACHE_VERSION) will be written again by FSX to your fsx.cfg in the next restart so this
changes are 'minor' and completely reverted by doing an uninstall.
AUTOMATIC REMOVAL
1) Automatic Delete of current ShadersHLSL
2) Automatic Delete of curent WaterConstants.Xml
3) Automaic rename of backup (original) ShadersHLSL_ORIGINAL folder to ShadersHLSL
4) Automatic rename of backup (original) WaterConstants.Xml.BAK to WaterConstants.Xml
5) The changes made by the installer to your fsx.cfg ARE reverted. The ALLOW_SHADER_30 line will be removed.
6) Complete removal of the 'Shader3 Mod for FSX' folder that we created on your FSX root directory
THE REASON WE PROVIDE THIS DETAILED LOG IS FOR YOU TO KNOW 'EXACTLY' WHAT THE INSTALLER IS DOING. The installer is NOT necessary to install
the Shader 3 Mod!! if you want to make a MANUAL installation, simply follow the SAME steps the installer is doing, we provide a folder called
MANUAL_INSTALATION where you'll find the required files to do this on your own. The Installer is meant for users who do NOT want or know how
to perform fsx.cfg changes or mod installs. Also for lazy ones who do not like to read instructions like you do. No 'trace' of the installer
is left when you uninstall, no registry entries are created. Special care was taken making sure the installer does a clean job installing and
un-installing.
NOTE: You'll notice that in the Application folder: 'Shader3 Mod for FSX' we include some aditional goodies. You'll be able to flush the
shader cache and apply aditional performance tweaks by simply running the scripts provided. This is completely OPTIONAL, but recommended for
a better experience/performance. You do NOT need to flush the cache UNLESS you make a change to the WaterConstants.Xml file.
The optional 'tweaks' we provide will be applied to your fsx.cfg ONLY if you run the Apply Tweaks option. For your reference, this are the
tweaks that get applied should you select that option:
[GRAPHICS] => HIGHMEMFIX=1
[GRAPHICS] => ForceFullScreenVSync=1
[GRAPHICS] => ForceWindowedVSync=1
[BufferPools] => UsePools=1
[BufferPools] => PoolSize=8388608
[BufferPools] => RejectThreshold=393216 (This value is only changed IF yours is below 98304, above 500000 or non-existing)
[Display] => TextureMaxLoad=30
[TERRAIN] => SWAP_WAIT_TIMEOUT=2
[SCENERY] => MAX_ASYNC_BATCHING_JOBS=N (N is set based on your Affinitymask setting if you have any, otherwise we'll skip this step)
If you want additional tweaks you can click on the Automated Tweaking & Tuning Tool shortcut so you can upload your fsx.cfg file for us no
analize and recommend settings based on your particular hardware.

ADVANCED USERS (How to edit WaterConstants.Xml)
===============================================
There is a shortcut in the Start menu Program folder to the tweaked Shader Mod 3 WaterConstants.Xml file. You can edit this file to change water
speed, reflections and other features. The one included with the Shader Mod has already been tweaked, so it doesn't need any changes, but you can
change it to your personal preferences. Remeber, EVERYTIME you make a change to this file you'll need to FLUSH the shader cache using the provided
link to do so.
The WaterConstants.Xml file has 3 sections: LOW, MID and HIGH. LOW affects settings for how the water looks under 1500ft, MID from 1500ft to 10000ft
and HIGH for how the water looks above 10000ft. The LOW section is the very first one (it doesn't say LOW anywhere) and remember, you want to change
the settings inside the sections. The sections affect only DX10 water. So, you'll see (3) Shader20 sections in the
WaterConstants.Xml file. The Shader30 section is IGNORED and should be left blank.
Take this example:
1.480
1.000
45.000
The fWaveBumpUVScale is the actual 'height' of the waves. In the above example the LOWER the number, the more 'calm' the sea will look.
At HIGHER altitudes, you might want to set this value 'lower' like 0.200. Setting it to 2.000 will give you a more 'active' looking sea.
fWaterBumpRotation is set in degrees. 0-360 it determines the direction of the waves above. fSpecularBoost determines the strenght of water
reflections, Lower numbers reduce SUN and MOON reflections on the water. We only recommend you change reflections and leave all the other
values intact. Valid ranges for reflections (fSpecularBoost) are: 1.440 - 1.540 you can safely play with those to see which value better
suits your preferences, have fun and remember, if you UN-INSTALL the Shader Mod, you'll loose any changes you made to this file, un-installing
will restore your original WaterConstants.Xml file.
